How to Wash the Silk Pillowcase
Preserve the Silk Pillowcase’s cloud-soft feel by machine washing on the delicate cycle or hand washing it in cold water with similar colors and fabrics. Avoid washing with heavy items (like jeans, towels, blankets) or pieces with embellishments that could scratch your pillowcase.
Once you’re done washing the Silk Pillowcase, let it lay flat to air dry. Never put the Silk Pillowcase in the dryer as it can shrink it. When air drying the Silk Pillowcase, keep it away from direct sunlight to help it retain its color and protect it from sun bleaching. On the subject of bleaching, never bleach the Silk Pillowcase as it damages the silk’s natural fibers.
Once the Silk Pillowcase dries and you’re wondering if you can iron silk, the answer is yes! You can iron silk. To maximize your pillowcase’s silky smooth goodness, just turn it inside out and steam or iron on low heat to keep away wrinkles and bring back the silk’s luster.
If you don’t have a steamer or an iron, just hang your pillowcase in your bathroom while taking a hot shower. And voila! The Silk Pillowcase is clean and ready for you to catch your best ZZZs on.
How to Wash the Silk Sleep Mask
The Silk Sleep Mask is hand wash only, but good news, it’s really easy to do so. Hand wash the Silk Sleep Mask in cold water with like colors and fabrics. Avoid spot cleaning as it can result in discoloration.
Similar to the Silk Pillowcase washing instructions, you should never bleach the Silk Sleep Mask to avoid damaging the silk.
Once you’re done hand washing the Silk Sleep Mask, don’t throw it in the dryer as tumble drying can shrink the Silk Sleep Mask. Lay it flat and let it air dry.
After your sleep mask dries naturally, you can slip it on and enjoy your darkest and best sleeps ever.
How to Wash the Silk Scrunchies
If you want to give our Silk Scrunchies a little wash, you can totally do so. In fact, we’ll often wash all our Silk Scrunchies at the same time whenever we want to give ours a refresh.
Hand wash the Silk Scrunchies in cold water with like colors and fabrics. Similar to the Silk Sleep Mask, don’t spot clean these silk hair accessories as doing so can result in discoloration.
We know you would never, especially after reading our “never use bleach” recs for the Silk Pillowcase and Silk Sleep Mask above, but we’re gonna say it one more time with feeling for the Silk Scrunchies. Please avoid bleaching your scrunchies as it damages the silk’s natural fibers.
Once you’re done hand washing the Silk Scrunchies, just lay them flat to dry. Don’t throw your scrunchies in the dryer as tumble drying will shrink them. We already have Mini Scrunchies for ya wink wink.
If you want the Classic Scrunchie or Jumbo Scrunchie to look extra fluffy after they’re done drying, you can place them in the bathroom while you take a steamy shower and they’ll look as puffy as a cloud once you step out.
